Unger Kateryna

Kateryna Unger has been working in the international organizations in Vienna, Austria in various capacities since 2016 primarily focusing on comprehensive security, technical assistance projects and international cooperation.

Kateryna also managed development projects in healthcare and human security sectors in Ukraine as a Coordinator of the Official Development Assistance of Japan to Ukraine at the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine, and worked as a research assistant and technical translator in the private sector in Japan specializing in nuclear energy and manufacturing.

Kateryna is a graduate of the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna and holds a Master’s Degree in Advanced International Studies. She also holds Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees in the Japanese Language and Translation Studies from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, and completed a two-year postgraduate PhD research in Information Science and Japanese Linguistics at Hokkaido University in Japan.
